How long does a fundraising campaign take?
Depending on the mandate, the type of investors for the strategy, current fundraise status and identified anchor investor, travel plans and the current season, we make a deliberate calculation on how long it takes to target the investors, and facilitate the due diligence process towards a potential closing. We are with you till the closing of the fund or deal. Contact us to learn more!
How does the process looks like? Timeline?
The first month we will prepare the campaign: pre marketing (pitch deck, teaser, fact sheet), dataroom set-up, investor lists and strategizing of the fund raise. The second month we will start with introductions, roadshow planning and the first meetings. Month 3-6 we will be following up, organize follow on meetings, have feedback sessions, assist with due diligence and q&a, organize for reference calls, assist with negotiations and work towards the potential placement(s).
Who will manage our campaign?
We make sure you deal with our senior team, assisted by mid level managers and juniors. Our most experienced consultants will work actively on the campaign, backed up by managers and analysts that are guiding the full project.
Do I need to have a budget for travel and private equity events?
Depending on the mandate and status we can highly recommend to travel to the potential investors or to be actively involved in fundraising events, to create more visibility. We advise case by case on the roadshows and best events to maximize the results.
